A triple puts three cylinders in a single row on one shared crankshaft. That layout sits right between a twin and an inline-four. You get more pull low down than a four gives you, and an engine that runs smoother and revs more freely than a twin. The engine is also narrower than a four.

Only triples count here: twins, inline-fours and V-fours don’t make the list. If one of these bikes interests you, pin down the exact generation and model year of the one you’re looking at before anything else. Every bike on this list comes with a three-cylinder engine from the factory.

Every motorcycle below has three-cylinder engines from the factory, confirmed against manufacturer information. Where a trim or special edition shares it with the base bike, only the base bike is listed. A model that is missing here may still have it; it means we have not confirmed it yet.
