Italian Art, 110 Built
The Alpine is the Superveloce 800 wearing a livery pulled from French motorsport, built as a run of 110 numbered bikes with their own wheels and a plaque to prove it. Underneath sits the 798 cc inline-three: 147 hp at 13,000 rpm, 65 lb-ft at 10,100, a trellis frame, a Marzocchi fork, 417 lb wet, and 149 mph when the road allows. The electronics stay out of sight where they belong, with ABS, traction control, ride modes, cruise control, a downshift quickshifter, navigation, and phone connectivity. Old shape, current hardware, nothing crude faking character.
Who it's for is simple. This is for the rider who already knows what they want looking back at them in the garage and doesn't need the purchase to add up on a spreadsheet. With 110 built, you own an object as much as a motorcycle, and everything about keeping it follows from that. The honest caveat here is mechanical rather than emotional: a broken valve spring destroyed an engine on a 2022 bike under 3,100 mi (5,000 km), with valves striking pistons, bent rods, and a damaged head, and the factory's first response was denial. Service history and a documented top end matter more here than on ordinary machinery.
Spec sheets don't ride bikes, but they set the baseline.

Valve spring breakage causing piston-valve contact
A broken valve spring can lead to catastrophic engine failure, with valves hitting pistons, bending rods, and damaging cylinder heads. Occurred at under 3,100 mi (5,000 km) on a 2022 model; factory initially denied warranty coverage.

Forget spec-sheet bragging. Here's who the Superveloce Alpine is actually built for.
Those Hill Country loops are exactly where this thing makes sense: light, quick between the corners, and loud in the right way. Plan your fuel stops, and don't ask it to eat a long slab transit quietly.
Made for Texas Hill Country · Texas Hill Country BDR-X · Twisted Sisters
Small towns, old routes, and a bike people walk over to look at. Cruise control makes the connecting miles bearable, but pack light and treat this as an event bike, not a load-carrying tourer.
Made for Park Loop Road · Handbuilt Motorcycle Show · Blue Ridge Parkway
Light, tight, and happy to lean further than you will, so the technical stuff suits it. The catch is that a numbered, 110-unit machine is an expensive thing to be scrubbing repeatedly.
Made for Tail of the Dragon · Back of the Dragon · Blue Ridge Parkway
If this one isn't quite the fit, these are the bikes worth riding back-to-back against it.
Any price note compares both bikes at the same age — the youngest age both have on the used market — against this MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine. “cheaper/pricier” is what that bike costs second-hand, not how worn it is.
Compare it with every bike that shares the same spec or equipment.
