Wet weight is what the bike weighs ready to ride: all fluids and fuel on board, as the manufacturer states it. Every adventure bike here comes in under five hundred pounds from the factory. That figure matters every time you push the bike around a parking lot, pick it up or hold it at a stop: less weight makes all three easier. Dry weight leaves out fuel, oil and coolant, so it isn’t comparable and doesn’t count.

If one of these bikes interests you, pin down the exact generation and model year of the one you’re looking at. Then check that its maker confirms a wet weight under five hundred pounds for it. A bike with only a stated dry weight stays off this list.

Every motorcycle below has a wet weight under 500 pounds from the factory, confirmed against manufacturer information. Where a trim or special edition shares it with the base bike, only the base bike is listed. A model that is missing here may still have it; it means we have not confirmed it yet.
