An automatic transmission takes the shifting work off you: the gearbox still has real, stepped gears, but the bike handles the changes, fully or in part depending on the system. Brands call it DCT, ASA, Y-AMT or AMT. In stop-and-go traffic that means less to do with your left hand and foot. A scooter’s twist-and-go belt drive doesn’t count here, and neither does an automatic clutch that leaves gear selection to you or a plain quickshifter.

The list is split in two: bikes that carry the automatic as standard, and bikes where it’s a factory option. If yours sits in the option section, check that the exact bike you’re looking at left the factory with it fitted.

Every motorcycle below has automatic shift (dct / asa / amt) from the factory, confirmed against manufacturer information. Where a trim or special edition shares it with the base bike, only the base bike is listed. A model that is missing here may still have it; it means we have not confirmed it yet.
