Wet weight is what a bike weighs ready to ride: fuel in the tank, oil and coolant in, as the manufacturer states it. Every sportbike here comes in under four hundred pounds on that figure. In daily riding that counts: less weight is easier to push around a parking lot, easier to pick up and easier to hold at a stop. A dry weight leaves out fuel, oil and coolant, so a bike with only that number stays off the list.

If one of these bikes interests you, pin down the exact generation and model year of the one you’re looking at. Then check that its maker states a wet weight for that version. A dry weight isn’t comparable. Only a confirmed wet weight under four hundred pounds counts.

Every motorcycle below has a wet weight under 400 pounds from the factory, confirmed against manufacturer information. Where a trim or special edition shares it with the base bike, only the base bike is listed. A model that is missing here may still have it; it means we have not confirmed it yet.
