350 EXC-F (MY2024)

The 350 cc Sweet Spot

The Machine's Character

The 350 EXC-F sits in the part of the enduro class where most riders actually live. You get 45 hp and 25 lb-ft from a liquid-cooled 350 cc single, which is enough drive to clear a nasty step-up without the mass and the temper of a bigger bore. The chassis carries its weight low and close to the center, so the bike changes direction from your hips rather than your shoulders. A closed-cartridge WP XACT fork and matching shock, both adjustable, cover race pace. It is street-legal with an LED headlight, so the trail can start at your driveway.

Ridden hard, this behaves like a tool rather than a toy. It rewards a rider who reads terrain and keeps momentum, and it stays composed when the ground turns to rock, sand, and off-camber roots. Parts availability and aftermarket support run deep, which matters on a machine that will get crashed and rebuilt more than once. Who it is genuinely for: the experienced off-road rider who wants one bike for technical singletrack, fast desert, and the ride to the trailhead. The honest caveat is the 37.8 in (960 mm) seat and the 2.2 gal (8.5 L) tank. Short legs and long days both cost you here.

Alternatives to the KTM 350 EXC-F

If this one isn't quite the fit, these are the bikes worth riding back-to-back against it.

Any price note compares both bikes at the same age — the youngest age both have on the used market — against this KTM 350 EXC-F. “cheaper/pricier” is what that bike costs second-hand, not how worn it is.
