The Ready-to-Race Trail Scalpel

The Machine's Character

The 350 EXC-F Champion Edition is KTM's middle four-stroke enduro, dressed for the race paddock. A liquid-cooled 350 cc single makes 58 hp and 26 lb-ft through a six-speed box, hung in a steel double-cradle frame on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. What sets this edition apart is what KTM fits before it leaves the factory: radiator fan, skid plate, map switch, Michelin enduro tires and a Supersprox Stealth sprocket. Traction control and ride modes are standard, and KTM says the WP XACT fork and XPLOR PDS shock adjust without tools. That's a race bike you don't have to build first. No shopping list required.

On paper, everything here points at dirt that fights back. You get 11.8 in (300 mm) of travel up front, 12.2 in (310 mm) at the rear and 13.7 in (347 mm) of ground clearance: hardware for rocks, ledges and sand. The 37.8 in (960 mm) seat and 2.2 gal (8.5 L) tank set the frame, pointing to race loops and hard day rides between fuel stops. KTM pitches the tool-free suspension adjustment as a quick way to retune between terrains, which matters when a sandy wash turns into a rocky climb. This is for the experienced off-road rider who wants KTM's orange attitude without a parts catalog. Pure intent.

The 'Should I Buy It?' Score

Forget spec-sheet bragging. Here's who the 350 EXC-F CHAMPION EDITION is actually built for.

Factory Butte in Utah's high desert badlands, captured in daylight under clear blue sky. The formation's distinctive multi-colored strata and steep erosional gullies dominate the frame. Arid terrain with minimal vegetation stretches across the foreground and background. Typical American Southwest landscape.

Best motorcycle for Moab?

Of these riders, you're the best fit: long travel, 13.7 in (347 mm) of clearance and a factory skid plate are built for slickrock, sand and ledges. Plan your loops around the 2.2 gal tank.

Made for Moab · Bar M / Kane Creek · Imperial Sand Dunes

Best motocross bike for Loretta Lynns?

A strong match for closed-course training and racing: a 350 cc single, adjustable WP suspension and race-ready kit. It's an enduro first, so the LED headlight and six-speed cover trails too.

Made for Loretta Lynn's Ranch · Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area · Fox Raceway at Pala

Best motorcycle for BDR routes?

A partial fit. The hardware handles the roughest BDR sections, but a 2.2 gal (8.5 L) tank and no factory luggage mean short legs and light packing. Logistics will shape your plan.

Made for AZBDR — Arizona Backcountry Discovery Route · California BDR South · COBDR — Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route
