RX 125 (MY2025)
Dirt Ready, Street Legal
The Machine's Character
The RX 125 is a proper enduro built around 124 cc, not a commuter dressed up in dirt-bike plastics. It shares its technical base with Aprilia's SX 125 supermoto, but this version is set up for dirt. The steel trellis frame carries a 21-inch front wheel, knobby tires, 9.4 in (240 mm) of fork travel and 8.7 in (220 mm) at the rear. Power comes from a liquid-cooled single making 15 hp through a six-speed box. The equipment list is serious for the class: ABS, full LED lighting and a color TFT dash are all standard. Parked next to a full-size enduro, it doesn't look like the kid's bike.
At 295 lb (134 kg) wet, it is light enough to pick up after a tip-over on the trail and simple enough to service in your own garage. It also shrugs off the knocks a learning rider hands out, and running costs stay low. It suits newer or younger riders building real dirt skills, and experienced riders who want a cheap, tough tool for tight singletrack. The caveat is plain. Its 15 hp and 8 lb-ft set a hard ceiling once the trail opens up or turns to pavement. There is also a known stumble when you open the throttle from idle, which points to the stock fuel mapping.
