What sets this generation apart is how it wears that hardware. Solid cast aluminum disc wheels, a wide front fork, floorboards, and a slammed stance give it a silhouette you read in a single glance. The rear suspension hides itself under the frame so the profile stays visually hardtail. Nothing about it apologizes for being heavy metal.

On the road it wants a big, unhurried rhythm. The torque arrives low and pulls you along without any need to work the gearbox, and at highway speed the long 64.5 in wheelbase holds a planted, confident line. The low 27.1 in seat makes the 714 lb wet weight feel friendlier at a stop than the number suggests, though you still feel every pound when you paddle it around a parking lot. It fits a rider who wants presence and character over agility. The honest caveat: these early Twin Cam engines need an owner who watches maintenance closely, especially the cam chain tensioners.
