Honda CBR650R (RH01) vs KTM 990 RC R (MY2026)
Honda CBR650R vs KTM 990 RC R: which one to buy for the riding you do.
Tip the Honda CBR650R into a bend and it drops in lightly, then sits neutral on the line you've picked. The KTM 990 RC R's chassis barely stirs through the arc. Its front tire tells you exactly what grip's left.

What makes each one tick
CBR650R
Low in the revs, the CBR650R's inline-four pulls cleanly, but it doesn't come alive until the tach needle swings high. Turn-in doesn't take more than a nudge on the bar. Mid-corner, it stays planted. Its brake lever bites harder the further you squeeze.
990 RC R
Hard on the brakes and still cranked over, the 990 RC R won't wander as it runs toward the apex. The narrow parallel twin keeps the bike slim, so it's easy to steer through corners. Once the revs build, it surges forward hard. Down low, a crack of the throttle already has the front wheel lifting. Throttle pickup is sharp, yet it's still easy to feed in finely with the wheel in the air. Third gear still shoves hard.
