The Machine's Character
The Six Days badge is not a sticker package. This is the 450 EXC-F built around KTM's compact liquid-cooled single, 64 hp and 36 lb-ft from 450 cc, wrapped in a lightweight chromoly frame with an orange-painted finish and the ISDE-commemorative graphics that mark the limited run. WP XPLOR 48 fork up front, WP XPLOR PDS Shock out back, both fully adjustable. Traction control and ride modes come standard, which matters more on a 450 enduro than horsepower ever will. Six-speed box, 21-inch front, 18-inch rear. The bolt-on parts push it toward a factory race machine rather than a trail bike.
With 11.8 in (300 mm) of front travel, 12.2 in (310 mm) at the rear and 14.0 in (355 mm) of ground clearance, this thing swallows terrain that stops most bikes cold. Slickrock, sand, rocky step-ups, it keeps drive where you point it. The seat is 37.8 in (960 mm) off the ground, so short riders will be tiptoeing, and the 2.4 gal (9.2 L) tank sets a hard limit on how far you go between fills. That is the honest trade. Buy it because you ride hard technical ground, not because you want a comfortable day out.
