This is the 450 EXC-F built around KTM's compact liquid-cooled single, 64 hp and 36 lb-ft from 450 cc, wrapped in a lightweight chromoly frame with an orange-painted finish and the ISDE-commemorative graphics that mark the limited run. You notice the height before anything else. Swing a leg over and you are perched, feet searching, and that never fully goes away at a standstill. Moving, it disappears. The bike feels light under you, narrow between the knees, and the bars fall exactly where your hands want them when you stand up. The single has that hard, dry bark that a good 450 should have, loud enough that you feel it in your chest at low revs and never harsh at the grip. Vibration stays honest through the pegs without buzzing your palms numb. Suspension action is the standout sensation: the fork and shock soak up square-edged hits without kicking back at you, and the whole chassis stays calm when the ground turns ugly. It asks something of you, and it gives back more.
