The TE 300 is Husqvarna's serious two-stroke enduro, and this generation makes the smoke-oil formula behave like a modern machine. Throttle body injection, an electronic power valve, and oil injection give the 293 cc single a clean, metered low-end that pulls off idle without the loading and fouling that used to define the type. Ride modes come standard, so you can soften or sharpen how that 50 hp reaches the ground. The chassis feels planted and honest in technical going. Nothing here is styling for its own sake; the substance holds up where it counts.

It rewards riders who spend real days in rough country: slickrock, sand, rocky climbs, tight woods. The 33 lb-ft of torque and long-gearing character let you lug through a section instead of fighting it, and the fully adjustable suspension takes hard use in stride. Maintenance stays approachable, and the aftermarket runs deep. The honest caveat is that this is a specialist. The 37.5 in (952 mm) seat is tall, the 2.2 gal (8.5 L) tank keeps range short, and abrupt throttle-and-clutch abuse can make it stumble. Buy it for the terrain, not the commute.
