SRV 600 V (MY2024)

The Rev-Happy Low Slinger

The Machine's Character

The SRV 600 V is QJ Motor's case for a middleweight cruiser that doesn't settle for loafing along. Its 561 cc liquid-cooled engine makes 67 hp at 10,500 rpm and 40 lb-ft at 8,000 rpm. Those numbers tell you this motor wants revs, not lazy low-end shove. Around it sits a long, low package: a 62.2 in (1,580 mm) wheelbase, a 28.3 in (720 mm) seat and belt final drive. The equipment list is long for the class. ABS, traction control and ride modes cover the electronic side, and an adjustable fork, a TFT dash with smartphone connectivity and navigation, tire pressure monitoring and an LED headlight all come standard. That's a lot of kit in a silhouette that still reads as a proper cruiser.

On the road it feels planted and stable in a straight line, and the low saddle makes it approachable for riders of almost any height at a stop. Belt drive and modest running costs point to a bike built for steady miles, not just a Friday-night run down Main Street. It suits a rider who wants the long, low look and modern conveniences without the weight and bulk of a big-inch cruiser. The honest caveat is that QJ Motor is still proving itself on detail. The gearbox can feel slushy, the throttle cable has too much free play, and the tire pressure system throws false alarms. None of these is a deal-breaker, but the established names already have that polish.

A long, straight paved road stretches toward the horizon through agricultural fields in Vermont. Power lines and a mailbox are visible along the roadside. Lush green vegetation, cumulus clouds, good daylight conditions. The landscape is flat to gently rolling. Asphalt pavement appears to be in good condition. Rural American setting.
