The Connected Long-Haul Bagger
The Road Glide Limited is the fully dressed end of the bagger idea. The sharknose fairing and the tall screen set it up, and the 1923 cc 45° V-twin does the work: 108 hp, 131 lb-ft, air and liquid cooling to keep it civil in traffic, and a six-speed that mostly gets used as a fifth and a sixth. A 64.0 in wheelbase plants it in a highway lane and leaves it there. What separates this trim is what comes bolted on: TFT display, navigation, smartphone pairing, keyless ignition, heated grips, adjustable windscreen, cruise control, and a full luggage system.
It rides the way those numbers read. Torque is there from just off idle, so highway speed arrives without drama and stays without effort, and the 919 lb stops registering as weight once the road opens up. Cornering ABS, traction control, and ride modes cover the weather you did not plan for. This is a bike for riders who cross states in a day, two-up and loaded, and who want the machine to feel like an occasion while they do it. The honest caveat sits below walking pace. On gravel, on a camber, backing out of a parking spot, you are managing a very heavy motorcycle, and you never forget it.
Spec sheets don't ride bikes, but they set the baseline.

Oil ejection from dipstick due to blocked breather port (recall)
A blocked airbox breather port can pressurize the crankcase, potentially causing hot oil to eject when the dipstick is removed. This recall affects 2026 FLTRXL among other models; dealers inspect and repair the port free of charge.
False kickstand warning and engine shutdown
Some owners report a 'kickstand down' warning while riding, causing the engine to lose power or stall. The issue may persist after dealer diagnosis, possibly linked to sensor or software glitches.

Forget spec-sheet bragging. Here's who the Road Glide Limited FLTRXL is actually built for.
Sound, presence, and a bike that looks right parked in a row of them. You get all of that here, plus the luggage and wind protection to make the ride out and back the good part.
Made for Florida State Road A1A · Black Hills · Main Street, Daytona Beach
This one is aimed straight at you. 131 lb-ft, luggage for two, and a fairing that keeps mountain weather off both of you all the way across Beartooth or Going-to-the-Sun.
Made for Beartooth Highway · Blue Ridge Parkway · Going-to-the-Sun Road
Comfort and scenery, yes. But 919 lb is a lot of motorcycle for Mount Lemmon switchbacks, and you would be buying a highway machine to ride roads that reward a lighter one.
