TC 125 (MY2023)
The Featherweight Rev Fiend
The Machine's Character
The TC 125 is a pure two-stroke motocross weapon, and it makes no excuses about it. A 125 cc liquid-cooled single puts out 40 hp through a 6-speed box. Throttle-body fuel injection means you never pull the carb apart to swap jets for altitude or temperature. The chassis is a steel double-cradle frame with fully adjustable WP XACT suspension at both ends, giving 12.0 in (305 mm) of travel up front and 11.5 in (293 mm) at the rear. Ride modes are standard. For a Husqvarna buyer who wants real race substance under the looks, this is the most honest bike in the range.
It weighs just over 200 lb dry, and that is the whole point. You can flick it into a rut or scrub it over a jump with far less effort than any big four-stroke asks of you. The price is that the bike makes you work. Power lives high in the revs, so you ride it with precise gear choice and a busy clutch hand. It suits an ambitious MX rider who wants to sharpen their technique on the bike that exposes every lazy input. One caveat you need to know about: in the green map, the engine can bog and cut out briefly when you land a jump.

Alternatives to the Husqvarna TC 125
If this one isn't quite the fit, these are the bikes worth riding back-to-back against it.
Any price note compares both bikes at the same age — the youngest age both have on the used market — against this Husqvarna TC 125. “cheaper/pricier” is what that bike costs second-hand, not how worn it is.
