250 EXC TBI Sixdays (MY2024)

This is the ISDE-themed build of KTM's 250 two-stroke enduro, and the special-edition parts are the ones that actually matter on a trail. The closed-cartridge WP fork, machined triple clamps and orange powder-coated frame back up the Six Days Argentina graphics with real hardware. Throttle body injection feeds the 249 cc single, and the payoff is a clean, metered throttle pickup with usable pull from low revs instead of a light switch. 46 hp and 28 lb-ft in a chassis this narrow puts it at the sharp end of competition enduro, and the mass sits low and centered rather than hung out at the ends.

This is a race bike with a plate holder, and it ages the way race bikes do: hard parts hold up well, consumables go fast, and the whole thing rewards an owner who actually turns wrenches. The suspension is fully adjustable at both ends, so it can be dialed for a 150 lb woods rider or a heavier desert pace, and the aftermarket catalog is deep enough to build it into almost anything. The honest caveat is the 37.8 in seat and the 2.4 gal tank. Short riders and long days both get punished, and nothing about the ergonomics apologizes for it.
