It is still a bagger that trades on presence, but now with the hardware to back up a long trip.

On the road it does what a big American tourer should: settle at highway speed and pull from anywhere in the rev range without asking for a downshift. The 28.1 in seat gets most riders flat-footed, though 811 lb wet asks for attention at walking pace. It should age well. Voltage regulator wiring harness short circuit risk

The voltage regulator wiring harness may lack a secondary retention strap, potentially leading to a short circuit. This recall (NHTSA 24V-672) affects 15,736 FLHX models built between Oct 27, 2023 and Jul 9, 2024.
Airbox breather port blockage causing crankcase pressure

On certain 2024-2026 models, the airbox backplate breather port may be blocked, causing crankcase pressure build-up. Removing the dipstick while pressurized can eject hot oil, posing an injury risk. Dealers will inspect and repair.
High-speed and low-speed wobble
