KX327 (MY2027)
The Push-Button Two-Stroke Racer
The Machine's Character
The KX327 is a 327 cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single built for motocross, and it doesn't arrive stripped to the bone. Kawasaki gives it fuel injection with pre-mix lubrication, an exhaust valve system, and two ECU maps you pick from a switch on the left bar. Traction control is standard too. On the mechanical side you get a hydraulic clutch, push-button electric start and a close-ratio 5-speed. All of it sits in a slim aluminum perimeter frame that Kawasaki says is derived from the KX450F, with a 1.9-in (48 mm) KYB fork up front and Uni-Trak at the rear. That's a two-stroke with a full modern kit. Rare stuff!
The spec sheet makes the intent plain: this is a race bike. Kawasaki says the gearbox is designed to keep you in the powerband for strong drive on motocross tracks, and that the electric start is there so a stall doesn't cost you your position. The fuel injection is claimed to deliver stable fueling whatever the air temperature or pressure. That points to a rider who travels to different tracks and would rather ride than chase settings. Four bar positions, two peg positions and adjustable suspension let you fit the bike to your body, and the app keeps your settings and service reminders in one place. Built to race.
