300 EXC 2026 (MY2026)

The 300 EXC is a two-stroke built for terrain that breaks everything else. The 293 cc single is rated at 50 hp and 32 lb-ft, but the figure that matters on a rock step is how low the pull starts and how long it keeps going once the trail opens up. Around it sits a chromoly steel double-cradle frame and WP suspension with 11.8 in (300 mm) of travel up front and 12.2 in (310 mm) at the rear. Compression damping adjusts by hand at both ends, no tools required. That is why this bike still sets the standard in the E3 class.

Ride it and the priorities are obvious. It wants someone already comfortable picking a line, because the reward here comes from precision rather than from the bike smoothing anything over for you. It ages the way race equipment ages: parts wear, you replace them, and it stays straightforward to work on. This is a machine for the experienced off-road rider chasing technical sections, hard enduro, hare scrambles, and long days on difficult trail. The honest caveat is physical. A 37.8 in (960 mm) seat and a 2.4 gal (9 L) tank are not flaws for the job, but they shape every day you spend on it.
